I've Seen STAR TREK

"Captain, we've lost Howard Stern's Sirius satellite radio signal!"

Chris Pine does an admirable job at playing a young Captain Kirk to the point where I forgot all about William Shatner. Zachary Quinto is also able to hold his own at portraying the iconic television character, Spock. The worst cast character was Eric Bana as the protagonist. Basically, his background was that he was a scorned Romulan captain of a mining ship, who blamed an esteemed Federation officer for the destruction of his planet. And finally, Winona Ryder plays Spock's mother and, uncharacteristically, is unable to steal the scene. Well she tried, but video surveillance was able to foil her attempt at doing so.

Star Trek is the best franchise installment since Undiscovered Country. It will not disappoint if you pay full price to view it at an Imax theater.
To say the least, this latest Trekkie film puts the "Ooo!" back in Sulu.

"Our mission: to go back in time and kill Chris Pine."
