Jake to Play Prince of Persia?

Jake Gyllenhall is supposedly replacing Orlando Bloom as Prince Dastan in the film version of the popular video game Prince of Persia. Although, I believe there might be some potential problems with this casting.

Persia is the former name of Iran. Iran believes in the death penalty for homosexuals. Iran's current president is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Mahmoud wants the Jewish controlled country of Israel to be "wiped off the map".

Jake Gyllenhaal is a descendant of Swedish royalty on his dad's side. Jake's mom is Jewish. Jake is best known for playing a gay wrangler in the movie Brokeback Mountain.

A half Jew, whose biggest role to date is a fudge packing cowboy, portraying the Prince of Persia. On second thought, I don't know what the hell I'm talking about. I can see this film being fully endorsed and embraced by the Iranian government. It might even serve as a first step towards finally achieving peace in the Middle East.
