I've Seen THE INTERNATIONAL
*toot* "You know the rule, Clive. He who smelt it dealt it."
The International is about a financial institution that is so powerful and influential that it is immune to international laws and tell governments what to do. It stars Clive Owen and Naomi Watts.
Most might classify this genre of film as an action/thriller/adventure, but no me. I consider this movie to be a horror. Why? Because for all I know, this is all based on a true story. You see, banks are evil empires that can never have enough of your money. That's why the word "savings" is slowly being phased out of the banking vernacular. I earn more interest keeping my money in my linty pocket. Seriously.
This film left me constantly checking to see if my wallet was still intact. Though if I was in charge, I would have had a completely different title. A more appropriate name for this film would have been: Damn the Man. The International is worth renting on DVD, but don't buy it. For all I know, you'd be supporting all the financial institutions that have produced and funded this movie's budget...and that's just wrong.
The International Space Station Bank is now offering zero gravity interest rates.
